How it works

Connect your account

Authenticate with your Google Workspace admin credentials using OAuth2. For organizations with stricter requirements, we also support service accounts.

We scan authorization events

Sens reads the Google Workspace Reports API to find every third-party application that users in your organization have authorized. We only access authorization metadata—never emails, files, or user content.

Review discoveries

New applications appear in your Discovery queue. Review each one and decide whether to add it to your inventory, ignore it, or flag it for team discussion.

Stay current automatically

Sens syncs with Google Workspace daily. New authorizations are flagged automatically, so your software inventory stays up to date without manual effort.

What we access (and what we don't)

We do access:

  • Third-party app authorization records
  • App names and OAuth scopes granted
  • Authorization timestamps

We never access:

  • Email content or attachments
  • Google Drive files or documents
  • Calendar events or contacts
  • User passwords or credentials
